1. Overview “JaFin” (the “App”) is designed to be offline and privacy-first. All of your financial data is stored solely on your device.
2. Data We Collect We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or financial data on any server. Everything you enter (transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, assets, liabilities, etc.) stays on your device only.
3. Camera and Photos The App requests camera and photo access solely so you can scan bank transfer slips and auto-fill their details. All image processing (OCR and QR reading) happens on your device. Images are never uploaded or sent off the device.
4. Biometric Authentication Face or fingerprint unlock is handled by your device's operating system. The App does not access or store your biometric data.
5. Notifications Notifications (e.g. budget alerts, goals, recurring entries) are generated locally on the device and are not sent through any external server.
6. Backups If you back up or export your data, those files are created locally and remain under your control. We recommend setting a password for backup files. We have no access to and no involvement with these files.
7. Third-Party Sharing We do not share your data with any third party. The App contains no ads, no analytics, and no user tracking.
8. Data Deletion Because all data is on your device, you can delete it within the App or uninstall the App to remove all data from your device.
9. Children This App is not directed to children and collects no data from any user.
10. Disclaimer This App is a personal budgeting and planning tool. It does not provide financial services and does not connect to or transact with any financial institution.
11. Changes to This Policy If this policy changes (for example, if a future feature uses the internet), we will update this document and revise the “last updated” date.
